Yin and Yang

I thought these two shots were appropriate for my first entry. The first is an old photo from Carl's Drive In in St.Louis. Like most of my food pictures, I forgot to snap it before I started eating. However, I think the picture is as a perfect representation of Carl's, highlighting the essential - a triple cheeseburger with Carl's standard edition of "everything" (pickles, onion, ketchup), french fries, and the famous homemade root beer.

The second is a quinoa vegetable salad with a red wine vinaigrette . Its really good...not much more to say.
